Morning — Weather, To-Do, News App Reviews

79 add

$3.99 for the app, $0.99 for additional theme

Ridiculous pricing. If Im paying $4 for the app, I should not be expected to pay $1 for every additional theme. And the app isnt that great either. Im all for supporting developers, but this app is designed to just make money. The devs dont care for providing a product that will help you be more productive.

Crashes in reminders

I would like the layout to be customizable to see more info on the screen. Getting a crash every time I scroll through the reminders. I like the themes. I have the ipad version but I dont think I will use the iPod touch version.

Needs work

Would be much better if you could add reminders through the app rather than using apples reminders app. Also the price is excessive for what you actually get, dont purchase this app until an update comes out with much more features.

Worth checking out

After seeing a review on Macworld, I thought Id check this app out. Not sure its worth the price tag. So far seems to be a little sluggish when pulling content from other apps and the news feature goes to settings when double tapped instead of opening the article. Will keep messing about.

Dont waste your money!

Interface is about 10-12 years behind the times, tools and applications are not user friendly or useful. I.e. - the route to work does not take into account traffic patterns, accident or road conditions, just point to point.

Good idea but not complete

Love the idea.. But it is far from finish.. It is made to steal your money

Beautiful

Simple and slick. Needs more window options but even now, an easy 5 stars.

Nice

Nice app, no more... Since that it has only several sections on the screen, apart from time and calendar, my common question is - any chance for commute to work in Russia?

Nice idea, buggy implementation

1. Was unable to add my work address for the Commute mode - only the city name is accepted, not the street name. Also I cant mark my own destination on the map. Kind of makes the Commute widget useless. 2. Couldnt make the app accept my RSS source, although the same feed perfectly rendered by all my other apps like Google Reader (RIP), feedly and Mr.Reeder Summary: dont buy yet, let the dev team iron out the bugs first.

Nice

Nice app, but please add traffic info to the commuter tab. And add more color themes.

Portrait view

Its nice, but it would be better to add the portrait view. If use a docstation its impossible to work with this application.

Message for Whiners

Whiners, go jump off a pier. This is not a $60,000 BMW. This is a $4 app. You buy a $60,000 BMW, you can complain all day long. But not here. Not for this. I do not work for whatever company makes this app, I just like good design. Time, date, weather, headlines, appointments, BAM! All beautifully displayed on a single page. Wonderful.

Fantastic

This app is everything I am looking for to have a quick glance of my day. The themes and interface are attractive and useful. Starts up fast. $4 is a lot for an app this basic, but its usability easily makes up for the cost. A definite buy for anyone looking for an attractive look at today

I love this app

Ill admit its a little on the pricey side and I feel like 99 cents per theme is a little stiff. All things considered it is still a really useful and cool app. If you like to look at all of your favorite info in one glance and you dont mind the fact its slightly overpriced, its pretty cool.

First Screen App

Lots of apps have tried to be the one vital thing you need to check in the morning. This one pulls it off. That being said, there are lots of little frustrations that signal it was released before fully tested. I assume that fixes will come but in the meantime it’s still good enough to be on the first screen.

Meh

Whats the point if this lol for that price

Really?!

The general idea and execution of this app is fine and Id have no regrets of purchase were it not for two RIDICULOUS aspects. First, $4 for what is basically a clock/weather/rss reader and you expect me to pay a dollar for each additional "theme"? Second, to read more than 7 words of a news story it opens up Safari. If I wanted that to happen Id use Safari. Until this is fixed this app is a waste. Im also very disappointed in AppAdvice for recommending it. Update: To the guy with the BMW analogy. Its not that $4 is breaking the bank. Its that the average paid app is $.99 but this company deemed this app worth 4 times more than average. Which it clearly isnt. If I bought a car for $60k which performed as well or worse than a car for $15k then Id obviously feel ousted all over again. Its not price that concerns me, its value.

Useless. Waste of money

This is absolutely useless app. We have better ones that comes with the phone itself. I thought this would be better than the iphone one. Why its rated so high? Curious.

My favorite new app

This app is nearly perfect. Ive been looking for something that I can open up in the morning, see the weather, see how long my commute might be, check the weather, and read a few news headlines. This does this perfectly. Theres a few more things Id like to see, but for now, this app is excellent. Saves me opening 5 or 6 other apps to do the same thing. Great start!

Waste of money

The app is very limited for customization. You cannot choose your commute route and forces its own route. If want to move tiles around, it does not remember your previous settings and you have to start from scratch if you want your commute, for example, within a different tile. You should also be able to pick your layout based on the information you want but it does not allow you to. $3.99 + tax down the drain.
